This is a must have for any playful cat! My in laws cat was entertained our whole Christmas gathering! It came with Catnip and I just left it zipped up inside so he could smell it. The motion action drove him wild! Then we turned it off and he cuddled with it. I think he thought he finally ‘killed the fish’. Great gift for a family with a cat. We did it as more of a gag gift but it turned out the cat really loved it!

I def recommend this toy! I have 7 cats and they all have been at least interested in this fish. Although it is a little loud (mechanical noise) it doesn't scare my cats, but does get their attention. It's big, which is good because they can grab it and kick it with their hind legs. We also discovered another game to play with it- put it under a blanket and they will love to pounce (just not a blanket you don't want to get snagged).

We have a rescued kitten who looks sweet but terrorizes everyone and everything in his path. Apparently he was not with his mother long enough to learn about good kitten manners, as in no biting. While our other cats work to teach him that, this kitten needs distractions that are as tough as he is. This flopping fish is up to the task! It’s bigger than I had thought and when it flops, it FLOPS. Even the sweet demon kitten can’t hold it down although he tries. Thankfully, that wears the kitten down a little! It’s scared me when I forgot it was nearby and it started flopping as I walked by but that’s just fine! I keep wondering when the battery (USB) will wear down but it takes quite a while.

Harvest is a little rip-terror and even got ahold of a taxidermy duckling i had...she shredded it to the point its beak disappeared and all that was left was fluff and legs with the wire support. This fish is hearty and heavy weight but light enough for her to just throw and try to throttle with her sharp little kitty claws and baby teeth. She will tackle and try so hard to murder the darn thing biting right under its neck(it doesn't die obviously) so she wears out before the fish does! It's working out a lot of her outdoor nature safely in doors, it keeps up with her and helped us get a better night sleep as well!

When I first saw it, I thought that it would be to be too big for the cats to like it, but that didn't end up being the case at all. One of the cats is a little bit reluctant about it, but she is really funny when she plays with it. She'll tap it and jump backwards when it moves She is getting use to it, though. The other two are crazy about it and the one pictured will play with it constantly if you let her. It holds a charge a lot longer than I thought it would and it seems to be made up of pretty tough material. My cats usually rip things to shreds, but the fish is holding up really well. It makes a fast ticking sound, kind of like a clock, but I have not found that to be bothersome. She'll even run around with it in her mouth. She's getting some much needed exercise!
